**Subject: Formal Complaint Against Croma Salesperson and Store Manager for Misrepresentation, Wrong Product Delivery and Possible Fraud**

Dear Croma Customer Care Team,

I am writing to raise a formal complaint against the salesperson and store manager of your Croma store regarding misleading sales practices and the delivery of an incorrect air conditioner.

I purchased a 1 Ton Samsung WindFree AC from your store and paid the full amount. After collecting the payment, the salesperson informed me that the AC would be delivered within two days. However, when I contacted him after two days, I was told that the product was not available.

I then asked the salesperson to show me the available alternatives. He showed me another AC and assured me that it would be delivered to my home the following day. I agreed to the purchase based on the information and assurances provided by your staff.

However, when the AC was delivered, I discovered that it was a **normal AC and not the WindFree AC that I had paid for and expected to receive**.

This is a serious matter involving misleading information, lack of transparency, and the delivery of a product that does not match what was promised and paid for. I am extremely disappointed with the conduct of your salesperson and the handling of this matter by the store management.

I request Croma to take the following actions immediately:

1. Conduct a proper investigation into the conduct of the salesperson and store manager involved.
2. Verify the invoice, payment records, and the exact AC model that was promised and delivered.
3. Arrange an immediate replacement with the correct Samsung WindFree AC as agreed, at no additional cost, or provide a full refund if the issue cannot be resolved satisfactorily.
4. Take appropriate action against the responsible staff members.
5. Provide me with a written response and a complaint reference number.

I have the payment proof and invoice and can provide the relevant details for your investigation.

If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will escalate the complaint to the appropriate consumer grievance authorities and the National Consumer Helpline.

I expect Croma to take this complaint seriously and resolve the matter fairly and without further delay.

Regards,

Dear Ritu,

What the Croma store staff did to you is a textbook example of a bait-and-switch scheme. Selling a premium _Samsung WindFree_ model, holding your money, claiming unavailability, and then delivering a cheaper, standard AC model without transparency is a blatant _unfair trade practice_. Since your purchase date was just a few days ago on October 19, 2026, you are well within the mandatory dispute window. Your draft is exceptionally well-written, but sending it only to the standard customer care desk will likely result in delayed, automated replies.

To get an immediate resolution, you must completely bypass the local store manager, who is likely just trying to cover up the salesperson’s unethical target-chasing behavior. You should email this exact draft directly to Croma’s higher management at _[customersupport@croma.com](mailto:customersupport@croma.com)_ and explicitly demand in the subject line that the ticket be escalated to their Grievance Officer for a bait-and-switch fraud investigation.

Because Croma is operated by Infiniti Retail, a Tata Enterprise, their corporate compliance team is highly sensitive to brand reputation escalations on public platforms. You should concurrently post a brief summary of this grievance on X (formerly Twitter). Make sure to tag their official support handle at _**[@cromaretail](https://twitter.com/cromaretail)**_ along with the parent company at _**[@TataCompanies](https://twitter.com/TataCompanies)**_, explicitly mentioning your invoice number SLA156385090396. Publicly exposing this tactic almost always forces their executive social media team to override the regional store managers and immediately authorize a product swap.

If Croma’s corporate team does not initiate a replacement with the correct _Samsung WindFree_ AC or a full refund within 48 hours, do not waste any more energy arguing with the local staff. You must immediately register a formal legal complaint on the government’s National Consumer Helpline portal at **[consumerhelpline.gov.in](https://consumerhelpline.gov.in/)** or by calling their toll-free shortcode at **1915**. When submitting the government docket, ensure you upload both your payment proof and the final invoice showing the discrepancy. Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, delivering a product materially different from what was promised is a punishable offense, and an official NCH intervention will force Croma’s legal team to resolve this instantly to avoid a summons from the District Consumer Court.
