# How to register a complaint

An auto driver was driving rashly, because I honked he got down from the auto and verbally abused. Later he hit me. How do I register a complaint regarding this?  
I have the photo of his auto

To file a complaint against the auto driver, you can approach the Bangalore police by :

- **Filing a complaint at your local police station** with a detailed account of the incident and any evidence you have, like the vehicle number.
- **Use the CCTNS Citizen Portal of the Karnataka State Police** to register a complaint electronically. Follow these instructions:
