# Social Media assured to Deposit 5000 Rupees, but debited my money

Dear @kbthangavel

I think you’ve been targeted by a cyber fraud. This is a serious concern, instantly file a complaint to cyber police. To do this, follow these instructions.

**DO NOT** pay any money through UPI using your PIN. This is a scam where scammers say to click the link and they will deposit some amount in your account.

**Immediately call the cyber police helpline at 1930.** They can help you file a complaint and possibly recover your money within 24 hours.

Be sure to include as much information as possible about the scammer, the method of communication, and any transactions that occurred. Follow these instructions:
