Two years ago a 2 inch water pipe was laid under jal jeevan mission j and k at Akingam bagath mohallah, Tehsil kokernag District Anantnag still waited for water supply to beneficiaries,how a previous 1 inch water pipe was shared with the apple orchardists who illegally get most of benefit from most unfortunate whenever we communicate with the AEE sub division kokernag for this illegal action they make it clear that we must provide water more consistent to apple trees than humans if it so why it gives to special consideration to some orchardists than others why not every orchardists gets the benefits mostly under water laws does the apple trees more superior than humans where is the law course of action against these unsound and unparallel officers please provide a complaint RTI format regarding the issue

IMMEDIATE STEPS:

  1. File on state public grievance Portal (Central Public Grievance Redressal System): Visit the J&K state grievance portal and lodge a detailed complaint with evidence of pipe laying 2 years ago without water supply distribution and selective benefits given to apple orchardists.

  2. Lodge with Jal Shakti Department: Contact PHE (Public Health Engineering) Kashmir at:

  1. File RTI Application to PIO, Jal Shakti Division, Anantnag requesting:
  • Record of pipe laying records with date (2024)
  • Water distribution records to beneficiaries vs orchardists
  • AEE’s communication/directives regarding priority to apple trees
  • Departmental action taken on previous complaints

  1. Escalate to Consumer Forum (Anantnag District) at Ph: 01932-222327 for denial of drinking water—a basic public service violation (deficiency in service).

@complainthub please provide a detailed RTI to AEE subdivision kokernag for inconvenience showing the illegal use of drinking water instead of using for benefit of humans rather than apple trees however earlier laid a 2 inch pipe under jal jeevan mission still unusage for public purpose

Subject: Information on JJM 2-inch pipeline laid at Akingam Bagath Mohallah but not used for public supply & illegal diversion.

1. Provide certified copy of DPR/estimate, admin approval, work order, and contractor details for the 2-inch pipe work (year-wise).
2. Copy of Measurement Book (MB), bills, completion certificate, and commissioning/handing-over note.
3. Current status: reasons for non-supply to beneficiaries; file notings and correspondence since laying.
4. Village/ward-wise list of intended beneficiary households, actual household connections given, and date of each connection.
5. Daily/weekly water supply roster/schedule and pressure/flow records (last 6 months).
6. Copies of permissions/orders allowing supply through 1-inch line to orchards; if none, state “No record”.
7. Complaint register entries and action taken on complaints about diversion/inequitable supply (last 2 years).
