Rural Healthcare: A Neglected Need

The healthcare infrastructure in rural areas of our country is extremely weak. The lack of hospitals in villages and their distance of 50-60 kilometers poses a serious challenge. In emergency situations, the delay in receiving timely treatment often proves fatal.

The government should establish Primary Health Centers (PHCs) near every village and equip them with adequate staff, medicines, and facilities. Additionally, expanding mobile clinics and telemedicine services in rural areas is crucial. Healthcare is a fundamental right for every citizen, and ensuring this must be the government’s top priority.
