Steps to file an online police complaint or e-FIR:

1. Visit UP Police’s official website (uppolice.gov.in)
2. Navigate to “Citizen Services” section of the menu.
3. Click “Complaint Registration or e-FIR ” to open the CCTNS citizen portal.
4. Login or register yourself as a citizen.
5. After successfully logging in, select complaint or e-FIR to open the online complaint form.
6. Fill out the form with required details including:

• Your name, address, contact information.
• Accused details (if known)
• Date, time, location, and a detailed description of the incident.
• If available, provide supporting documents such as photos, videos, or other evidence.

7. Submit the forum.

You can also file a complaint to the state labour department through the Jansunwai portal. Remember to keep all records related to the work performed (contracts, invoices, payment slips, etc.) to strengthen your case.
