I am from Vadodara, Gujarat. My parents had submitted an application for address and name correction in their Voter ID on Nov 10, 2025. We still haven’t received the corrected Voter ID. Also, my parents went to the local mamlatdar office and they were not able to provide answers. Can you please suggest, what should we do now as next steps ? as this document should not exceed more than 15 days. Who will action on this complaint, where to complaint ? What are we missing ?

To lodge your complaint about the delay in receiving the corrected Voter ID after submission on Nov 10, 2025, please register a grievance online at the National Grievance Services Portal (voters.eci.gov.in).
Login using your mobile number, click ‘Register Complaint’, select ‘Voter-related’ category for correction/updation delays, and provide your application reference number. You’ll receive a complaint ID to track status.
Alternatively, call the toll-free ECI Voter Helpline at 1950 to escalate this issue directly. Your complaint will be handled by the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) or District Election Officer (DEO) of Vadodara, Gujarat, and should be resolved within 30 working days. Since your application has exceeded the standard processing time, filing a formal complaint is essential to expedite action.
