Residents of areas under Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) jurisdiction, where sanitation and civic services are provided by JNAC and not by Tata Steel UISL, are facing major inconvenience due to the absence of a proper complaint redressal system.
Currently, only a phone number is available for lodging complaints. This system is outdated, lacks transparency, and does not provide residents with any complaint ID, status update, or follow-up mechanism.
In today’s digital era, citizens expect an online platform or app-based system where grievances can be registered, tracked, and resolved efficiently. Without this, residents of JNAC-serviced areas are left disadvantaged compared to those in UISL areas.
I request the concerned authorities to take immediate steps to introduce a proper online complaint redressal and tracking mechanism for JNAC areas to ensure accountability and timely resolution of public issues
