Subject: Complaint Regarding Charging for Toilet Use

Dear Management Team,

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had in Udupi establishment regarding the use of the toilet facilities. Upon visiting the restroom, I noticed a sign clearly indicating that urination was free of charge. However, upon exiting, the cleaner on duty insisted on collecting a fee for using the facilities.

This discrepancy between the signage and the actual practice is concerning and misleading to customers like myself. It not only creates confusion but also gives the impression of dishonesty or unfair practices.

I kindly request that you investigate this matter promptly and ensure that your staff adheres to the policies clearly stated for customer convenience and satisfaction. Additionally, I would appreciate a refund of the amount charged for the toilet use, as per the signage displayed.

I trust that you will address this issue promptly and take steps to prevent such misunderstandings in the future.

We suggest you file a formal complaint with the Udupi Municipal Council (udupicity.mrc.gov.in). You can lodge this complaint online through the Janspanadana- Public Grievance Redressal System (IPGRS) portal of the Government of Karnataka.

You can submit your complaint with details about the incident, including the location and time of your visit. The Udupi Municipal Council will then be able to investigate the matter and take appropriate action.
