If you have any police complaints or FIRs that are not addressed by the local police station, district SP office, Zonal Inspector General of Police (IGP) and Range Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) or have issues regarding police administration, all police matters, corrupt practices, ignorance by officials, or citizen services, escalate the matter to the Director General of Police (DGP) Office or contact the state police headquarters.
If you have not yet filed a police complaint, first lodge a police complaint or e-FIR to Telangana Police or the nearest local police station.
While escalating your case, you must provide the reference/case number of the lodged FIR or police complaint including supporting evidence. Note: In case of unsatisfactory resolution of concerns related to citizen services or police functioning (corruption, harassment, misuse of power, etc.), you may file an online public grievance to the Appellate Officer for Telangana Police within the Home Department through the “Prajavani- Public Grievance Redressal Portal (CPGRAMS)” of the Government of Telangana.
