How to lodge a public grievance to Jammu & Kashmir Integrated Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (JK-IGRAMS)?

If you have complaints about government offices (municipal corporations, Nagar Palika/Parishad (block), panchayats, collectorate, police, etc.), departments, and ministries of Jammu & Kashmir, lodge an online public grievance to the Appellate Authority of respective departments through the “J&K Integrated Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (JK-IGRAMS)” portal of the government of Jammu & Kashmir.

You can complain about government schemes, demand new civic services (hospitals, water supply, public works, schools/colleges, drainage/bridges, roads, etc.), corrupt practices or misuse of power by officials/employees, and other disputes (agriculture schemes/subsidy, public transit, food supply, ration cards, etc.).

:tipping_hand_man:t5: Note: To register your grievance, you can call at the helpline numbers 18005722327 (Jammu) and 18005722328 (Kashmir) at District Call Centers for JK-IGRAMS. You can also email your grievance to jk-grievance@jk.gov.in with supporting documents.

Steps to file an online complaint:

  • Visit the JK-IGRAMS website (jkgrievance.in).
  • Click on “Register your grievance” to open the online complaint form.
  • Fill out the form by providing:
    • Complainant details including your name, contact information, and address.
    • Describe the issue you are facing with the government office or public service.
    • Include specific details such as the department, office, or officer involved, and any relevant dates or documents.
  • Upload supporting documents, photos, etc.
  • Submit the complaint.

Finally, note down the Grievance ID provided for tracking purposes. Use the Grievance ID to track the status and progress of your complaint on the JK-IGRAMS portal. For technical issues, call at +911942502596 (Srinagar) or +911912560109 (Jammu)

If your grievance is not resolved within the given period, you can escalate the complaint to higher authorities, including the Grievance Cell of the Lieutenant Governor of J&K. The levels of escalation are:

  • Level 1: Designated Officer of Department (Nodal Officer)
  • Level 2: District Collectorate/Department Grievance Cell (Public Grievance Officer)
  • Level 3: State Grievance Redressal Authority (Head of Department/Secretary)
  • Level 4: Lieutenant Governor’s Grievance Cell (LG), Jammu & Kashmir
