When you file, be sure to include:

  • The date and time you lost your bag.
  • The train route you were on.
  • A detailed description of the bag and its contents.
  • The location on the train where you lost it.

You can also call the toll-free number 139 or talk to the station master/railway police/grievance redressal helpdesk at the station where you lost your bag.
