My salary is on hold

Belltechlogix India Pvt Ltd . Facility manager hold my my salary he didn’t get answered my query . And also third party Maven facilities management services also involved in this group how could I resolve my issue

Dear @Bhagath_Katta Ji,

As per your concern, you are facing a salary withholding issue by Belltechlogix India Pvt Ltd, where the Facility Manager has failed to address your concerns. Additionally, a third-party agency, Maven Facilities Management Services, is also involved in the process. Salary withholding without legal justification is a serious violation of labor laws in India. You have several legal remedies to ensure that your salary is paid. You may take following actions:

Initially, you may send a detailed email or letter to Belltechlogix and Maven Facilities Management Services.

  • Mention the Following:
    • Employment details (designation, department, period of service)
    • Details of unpaid salary (period and amount)
    • Previous attempts to resolve the issue (emails or conversations)
    • A clear demand for immediate release of your salary within a specific timeframe (usually 7–10 working days).

If the Facility Manager is unresponsive, escalate your issue to the Human Resources (HR) department of Belltechlogix. Also, communicate the issue to the third-party agency, Maven Facilities Management Services, with a formal request to intervene.

Further, you may take legal action based on these laws:

  • Payment of Wages Act, 1936: This act mandates that salaries must be paid on time. Unjustified withholding is illegal.
  • Industrial Disputes Act, 1947: You can file a complaint with the labor commissioner for disputes related to wages.
  • Contractual Rights: If you are employed under a contract, review its terms to check if there’s any clause that the employer may be violating.

To lodge a complaint with the Labour Commissioner, visit the Labour Department in your city and file a formal complaint regarding non-payment of wages. You can also use the state public grievance portal.

Submit all supporting documents like your appointment letter, payslips, and communication records with the employer.

If you were hired as a contractor through Maven Facilities Management Services, you can file a case with the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission for breach of contract and non-payment.

If none of the above works, engage a lawyer to issue a legal notice to Belltechlogix and Maven Facilities. This notice should demand immediate payment of your salary and compensation for the delay.

Finally, you can file a civil suit for recovery of unpaid salary in the appropriate court of law.

Documents You Will Need:

  • Appointment letter
  • Salary slips or proof of agreed salary
  • Emails and messages related to the salary dispute
  • Any correspondence with HR or the Facility Manager
