Police station does not register FIR despite complaint IN GUJARAT AHMEDABAD

If your police complaint or FIR is not being registered by the local police station or divisional office of the city police of Ahmedabad, you can contact the state police headquarters by calling at the helpline number +917923246330 / +917923254343 or emailing dgp-scr@gujarat.gov.in.

For complaints related to corruption, you can call the Anti-Vigilance Officer at 1064 / +917923257133 or email cor-crime@gujarat.gov.in.

Steps to file an online police complaint or e-FIR:

1. Visit Gujarat Police’s official website (police.gujarat.gov.in) .
2. Click to “CCTNS Citizen Portal (gujhome.gujarat.gov.in) ” from the citizen section.
3. Choose “e-Application - Complaint/e-FIR” to open the online complaint form.
4. Login or register yourself as a citizen.
5. After successfully logging in, click “lodge a complaint” option to open the form.
6. Fill out the form with required details by providing your details, incident details, victim information (if applicable), and any supporting documents.
7. Submit the form.

If still not resolved, lodge a public grievance online to the Appellate Officer for Gujarat Police at the Home Department through “Samadhan CMO Gujarat- Public Grievance Redressal System ” portal of the government of Gujarat.
