As per TSRTC rules, children aged 5 to 12 years are eligible for half-ticket fares, and those 12 and above require full tickets. If your daughter is 11, she is entitled to a half-ticket. The conductor’s behavior was inappropriate and misinformed. You can lodge a formal complaint with TSRTC by calling +914069440000 / 04023450033 . or submitting a grievance at the TSRTC grievance portal under the feedback section.
