Regarding Housin Scam located at Bidhannagar Housing colony Durgapur, West Burdwan, West Bengal.

Respected sir.
I am sunil kumar mukherjee a senior citizen of India, born on 20.11.1956, I am facing a public interest litigation against the housing scam in violation of the premises tenancy regulation act, 1976 and the west bengal premises tenancy act, 1997.Ihave complained to all levels of the administration but no action has been taken by the administration, I appeal to you for justice.

The Indian constitution grants equal rights to evry citizens under article 226,but the housing departments officials are enforcing the law in individual ceses, such as giving keys to pepole in RIII/15quarter because they have their 0wn houses in bidhannagar housing colony, there are several hundred tenants in bidhannagar and sagarbhanga housing colony despite giving notice to same tenants, they did not enforce any law in their case, this decision is against the constitution. The law sould have been endorsed in all cases.

The premises tenancy regulation act, 1976 and the west bengal premises tenancy act, 1997 dose not give any right to sell or transfer the quarters to the rental tenancy, yet illegal transfer are being made day after day through financial agreements, such RIII/60 quarter bidhannagar housing colony 4,50,000/-was transferred through financial agreements.

The government rental quarters is being transferred through financial agreement due to which the government revenue is being tost due to non-payment of revenue but housing office is silent.

Another request is to investigate the role of wark asst. of the electrical division office of bidhannagar housing, due to which the matter is active.

Hi Sunil Kumar Mukherjee Ji,
If you have already complained at all levels and no action has been taken, you should file a grievance on PG Portal at https://pgportal.gov.in. Also, you can approach the State Lokayukta to report corruption and inaction in the housing department. Since this is a legal matter, you can also file a writ petition under Article 226 in the Calcutta High Court for justice. If illegal financial agreements are happening, report the issue to West Bengal Housing Department and Vigilance Commission. If you need help drafting a complaint, let me know.
