Scammed on Facebook page and cheated out of money

Please instantly report this online scam about the pet deal on Facebook to the state cyber police by calling the toll-free helpline number 1930 or using the National Cybercrime reporting portal. Follow these instructions to make your complaint online:

• Login or Register: You might need to create an account on the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal. Visit the link: https://cybercrime.gov.in/Webform/Crime_AuthoLogin.aspx
• Report the Crime: Find the “Report Cyber Crime” section and fill out the details.
• Provide Information: Describe the incident, suspect details (if known), and any other relevant information.
• Submit and Track: Don’t forget to note down the acknowledgement number to track your report’s progress.

Further, you should file an online police complaint to the Hyderabad Police through the CCTNS citizen portal of the Telangana State Police. You can use these instructions.

• Visit Telangana Police’s CCTNS portal (tspolice.gov.in) .
• Navigate to the “Citizen Services” section from the menu.
• Click “Police Services through Mee Seva” to log in or register yourself as a citizen.
