School has not Enrolled student PEN in UDISE

My son a student of class VIII got admission to a new school this year. The new school wanted the PEN number to be de-enrolled from previous school in UDISE so that they can enroll him. But they found that the previous school where he completed Grade - VII has not enrolled his PEN to their UDISE. What should I do now, as the new school now allowing to get enrolled in Class VIII.

To raise concern about hurdles with your son’s enrollment in Class VIII due to lack of PEN in UDISE, you can file a complaint against the school with the Education Department of your state government through the state’s public grievance portal.

You can also contact the school affiliation board responsible for the previous school’s affiliation. They may be able to intervene and help ensure your son’s PEN is properly registered.
