Threatening

Around 5.30 AM, I arrived at Nehru outer Ring road (near toll plaza) by bus. One of the cab driver approached me that he can drop me in Rajiv Gandhi airport with rs 500 fare.

I simply denied then he started abusing slang ( M******** B********) and threatened me that as he is a local he will beat me untill I die.

Then I called to police helpline number
They registered my complaint with case ID 20250000026816 under Shamshabad PS
Two of the police officer came after sometime (phn no of police ‪87xxxxcc37‬)
I told them the whole story and also provided cab’s vehicle (last 4 digit only I remembered i.e 0317)
They advised me if I want to register an FIR then I have to go to police station which is around 8 km far away.

As I was late for the flight so I left that place.

Are we really living in a democratic country ??? Where even a cab driver doesn’t have the fear of law and order who is threatening openly.

It’s my sincere request kindly take necessary action so that if a new person came to Hyderabad then he should be feel safe.

Dear @Priyaranjan ,

Your experience is concerning and highlights the importance of safety and accountability. To ensure action is taken, follow these steps:

1. Contact the Police Station

  • Since a complaint was already registered under Shamshabad PS with case ID 20250000026816, follow up with them directly.
  • You can call the station or visit later to formally register an FIR.

2. Escalate to Senior Officials

  • If no action is taken, escalate the matter to higher authorities like the DCP (Deputy Commissioner of Police) of Cyberabad Zone.

3. Write to the Hyderabad Commissionerate

4. File an Online Complaint

5. Share Your Experience

  • Bring attention to the issue on social media platforms and tag Hyderabad Police’s official handles to ensure swift action.

It’s unfortunate that you had to face such behavior. Let me know if you need help drafting a formal escalation letter or complaint email. Your effort can help ensure better safety for others.
