I am writing to bring to your attention the rude and unprofessional behavior of the driver and conductor on a TSRTC Pallevelugu bus running between Bhongir and Ghatkesar, which serves the surrounding villages.
Today, both the driver and conductor behaved rudely when we requested them to stop at our village. Not only did they refuse to give tickets properly, but they also denied stopping the bus at our location, despite it being a Pallevelugu service that is meant to cater to village passengers.
When questioned, the driver insulted other professions, saying things like “Me work emundhi? Meru teacher aa? B ani chepi vastaru?” and further added that they work from 7 AM to 1 AM, indirectly implying that passengers like us have no right to question them. Such remarks are highly unprofessional and unacceptable, especially from public service staff who are expected to treat passengers with respect.
This is not a one-time incident. We face the same rude treatment almost daily from conductors and drivers on this route. As villagers, we are heavily dependent on these buses for our everyday commute. This kind of consistent mistreatment is causing us a lot of stress and inconvenience.
In today’s incident, the conductor even mentioned that Yadagirigutta depot buses behave this way because it is not an express service, and such behavior won’t happen with buses from other depots. If this is true, kindly look into the rules being followed at the Yadagirigutta depot and ensure that the staff are properly instructed to treat passengers respectfully.
We sincerely request:
- That strict action be taken against rude staff.
- That clear rules and conduct guidelines be communicated to drivers and conductors, especially from Yadagirigutta depot.
- If possible, kindly arrange a dedicated Pallevelugu bus service for our villages between Bhongir and Ghatkesar, as the demand is high and passengers are struggling every day.
We hope you take our concerns seriously and look into this matter at the earliest.
Thank you for your attention.
