Dear @Nishi, I can understand your frustration with these fraudulent calls and messages. These are some steps you can take to stop them:

  • Activate DND (Do Not Disturb) on your mobile number to block telemarketing calls. You can activate it by sending an SMS to 1909.
  • You should use call detection features from your telecom provider with features to identify and block spam calls. Check with your carrier about these options.
  • You can report spam callers to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) by sending an SMS to 1909.
  • You should file a complaint through the CCTNS citizen portal of the state police if you’ve experienced financial loss or harassment due to these calls.
