I stay in a beautiful village near airport in Dehradun . I have found the villagers here throw garbage in the forests nearby , may be that is because no waste collection team comes here to collect waste . But here the people are habituated to burn their waste which includes plastics, which i know is not good but better than dumping in the jungle . I really want to save the jungles here , since its home to wildlife and also we deserve to live in neat places . Kindly help me out in the matter

To address the issue of uncollected waste and burning of plastics near your village in Dehradun, please file a complaint with the Dehradun Municipal Corporation via their helpline at +918047097506 / 18001802525 / +911352653572 (DSCL) or email nagarnigamddn@gmail.com / citizenhelp-dscl@uk.gov.in. You can also report the issue on the Swachhata app by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs for quicker action.
Further, you can escalate by lodging a public grievance through the “UK CM Helpline – Public Grievance System” of the Uttarakhand Government or calling at 1905 .
