Dear @Jitu_Tanwar Ji,

As per your case, you were denied boarding by a bus conductor at the Mahendragarh-Rewari Road bus counter despite having a valid intent to travel with a female and a child passenger. This act could potentially violate your fundamental rights and entitlements as a passenger and citizen. It could also amount to misconduct by a public service provider.

You can contact the bus depot manager of the Haryana Roadways or transport authority to report the incident. You can request an immediate explanation and a solution.

For this, you can lodge a formal complaint to the State Road Transport Corporation’s grievance cell detailing:

  • Date, time, and place of the incident
  • Bus number and conductor’s name (if available)
  • Any witnesses to the incident

You can call at the helpline number 01725200600 or 01242320222 (Gurugram). To make your complaint online, follow these instructions:

To contact the General Manager (GM) of Rewari bus depot, you can call at 01274253788.

You have the right to fair and reasonable services from public service providers. If the act involves obstruction or misuse of public services, it can attract legal consequences.

If unresolved, you may also file a complaint in the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission for denial of service under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or contact the National Consumer Helpline (NCH).
