You can also lodge an online complaint through the grievance portal of the Shimla Municipal Corporation(shimlamc.hp.gov.in).

If unresolved in 48 hrs, escalate to HP Jal Shakti Department at 0177-2650680 or register on the State Public Grievance Portal under “Public Grievances,” noting your SR number. Copy your ward councilor (via SMC website) and district collector at collector-shimla@hp.gov.in. Retain all references.
