I am writing on behalf of my sister, who is facing an issue while applying through the SSC portal. The application process cannot proceed as it shows the following error:

“Apologies, you’re unable to proceed without providing your address. Please update your OTR and return.”

However, the address field is currently locked and not editable. We don’t know what to do and we can’t apply for any exams

To resolve the SSC portal error, your sister must update her One-Time Registration (OTR) details. Since the address field is locked, she should email SSC technical support at helpdesk-ssc@ssc.nic.in with her registered ID, screenshot of the error, and a request to unlock the address field. Alternatively, call the SSC helpline at +911124368090 / 1800-309-3063 during office hours.

but i tried to contact to ssc regional office but they are not responding .email also

Further, you may try to get help from a nearest CSC or form filling centers. Additionally, if you are near to the SSC office, try to visit there.
