To lodge a police complaint against the brick company in Hoshiarpur district for non-payment, visit your nearest police station and file a written complaint detailing the amount due, transaction history, and any evidence (receipts, messages, etc.). File an e-FIR or Police Complaint
Saanjh Citizen Portal (CCTNS): Visit the Saanjh portal (ppsaanjh.in) to report incidents and file e-FIRs in Punjab. You can also download “PPSAANJH” mobile app
Visit the Public Grievance Division portal (punjabpolice.gov.in) to file a police complaint and log in or register your account to open the online complaint form.
Complaint/e-FIR Registration:
Select the appropriate category (e.g., theft, assault, cybercrime).
Provide your details and a clear description of the incident.
Upload any supporting documents (photos, videos, etc.).
Choose the preferred police station for handling your case.
Submit the online complaint form.
Complaint/e-FIR Tracking: Use the reference number provided to track the status of your complaint or e-FIR online.
Note : A police complaint is a formal accusation against someone, made orally or in writing, for any type of offence. FIR (First Information Report ) is a formal written document filed at a police station for non-cognizable or cognizable offences (serious crimes that the police can arrest without a warrant).
To file an FIR about cognizable offences, you have to visit the nearest local police station and contact the Station House Officer (SHO) to lodge an FIR with supporting evidence.
