How can I request the removal of the hold on my SBI account?

For the past 7 months my account is kept on hold. Two days ago another hold was also kept. withholding certain amount which I cannot withdraw. This is really frustrating because I am a student and I urgently need the funds to care of my urgent education and daily needs. I was informed Maharashtra cyber crime kept the hold yet I cannot reach all the emails and contact numbers sent to me by the cyber crime number 1930.

@complainthub-team thank you. I have actually called the 1930 number and they said Maharashtra placed the hold. They shared a number to call at Maharashtra office but the whole day this number is ringing to no avail. The branch manager said they cannot do anything. That is what baffles most.

If your account has been placed on hold by the Maharashtra Cyber Police, and yet not resolved, you may ontact the Maharashtra Nodal Officer of the Cyber Police:l to understand the reason for the hold and what steps you need to take to resolve it. You can get contact details of the officials from the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal.

Additionally, you may escalate your grievance to the SBI Nodal Officer so they can help you navigate the process and may be able to provide assistance in remove holding of your bank account.

Remember to keep track of all your communication with the relevant authorities, including dates, times, and any reference numbers provided. This will help you document the issue and resolve it more quickly.
