I am writing to highlight a critical issue regarding land records of Pune District. Despite a complete scanning of all talukas in Pune District in 2017, the district’s land records remain unavailable on “LogIn”.

Key Observations: • Land records of other districts have been online since 2019 • Pune District’s complete scanning was finished in 2017 • District authorities have confirmed the scanning process

Tahsil Office Challenges: • Inefficient administrative practices • Deliberate denial of existing records • Unnecessary harassment of citizens

Specific Concerns:

  1. Why are Pune District records still not digitized?
  2. What is causing the delay in online publication?
  3. Why are tahsil offices denying existing records?

Requested Actions: • Immediately publish Pune District’s land records online • Ensure transparent and accessible record management • Address citizen grievances promptly

The continued delay and obstructive approach is causing significant inconvenience to citizens seeking their legitimate land records.

We are facing significant difficulties due to the unprofessional and unethical work of the tahsil office and whole land & revenue department of Pune Distric. Even when records are available, they often claim that “no record is available,” causing us unnecessary trouble.
