If you want to lodge a consumer complaint, you can use the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) for an informal consumer complaint. Follow these instructions:
Step 1: Visit the NCH Portal (https://consumerhelpline.gov.in/ )
Step 2: Register or Login
If you’re a new user, click the “Sign Up ” button and fill out the Consumer Registration Form.
If you already have an account, log in using your credentials.
Step 3: Choose the Grievance Registration Form
Select “Consumer Grievance ” from the available options.
Step 4: Register Your Complaint
Fill out the online consumer complaint form. Here’s what you’ll need to provide:
Personal Details: Name, contact information, etc.
Complaint Nature: Briefly describe the issue you’re facing.
Product & Service Details: Include details like purchase city, industry, product value, company name, and dealer details (if known).
Description of Dispute: Explain the problem with facts and dates.
Supporting Documents: Attach copies of bills, photos, warranty cards, or any other relevant documents (optional but helpful).
If you want to lodge a formal consumer complaint then, you can use the E-Jagriti portal of the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (also known as Consumer Court). You can follow this instruction:
Registration: Create an account on E-Jagriti (e-jagriti.gov.in) as a complainant or advocate for eFiling.
Login and File a New Case: Choose “Consumer Case CC” under the “File New Case” section.
Fill the Form: Provide all necessary information, including details of the complaint, the opposite party, and the amount claimed.
Select Commission: Based on the claim amount, select the appropriate commission (District, State, or National).
Complete the Complaint Form: Fill in all details regarding the case, including a summary and any supporting documents.
Finalize and Submit: Preview your application, enter the Consumer Helpline Number (if registered), and pay the required fee online.
Track Your Case: Note down the reference/case number to track the progress of your case through the portal.
You can also download the consumer complaint form to submit your appeal to registrar at respective district or state consumer commission by visiting in person.
