Urgent Action Needed for Compound Wall Incident and Waste Issue

There is a compound wall that collapsed due to an incident involving a tempo vehicle reversing into it. Despite repeated reminders to Nadish AE, Malleshwaram, no action has been taken so far.

Since then, the situation has worsened, as shown in the attached picture. The area has become a dumping ground where people are disposing of liquor bottles, berries, and various types of waste, causing significant problems for the residents nearby. Children walking past this place have to cover their noses due to the foul smell from the accumulating waste.

Can we expect any action to be taken now, or could you inform us who the authorized person from BBMP is to address this issue? It has become critical and requires urgent attention.

Dear @savinay_hande,

I’m sorry to hear about the ongoing issue with the collapsed wall and waste accumulation. Here are steps you can take to resolve this:

  1. Contact BBMP Complaint Cell: Reach out to the BBMP helpline at 1533 or 80-22660000 or use their Sahaaya App to register a formal complaint. Mention the location and details to ensure a quick response.
  2. Follow Up with the Ward Office: You can also visit or call the BBMP Ward Office in Malleshwaram and speak to the Assistant Engineer or Ward Officer directly. They are responsible for such maintenance issues.
  3. Escalate to Higher Officials: If no action is taken, consider escalating the complaint to the BBMP Joint Commissioner (West Zone) or through the BBMP grievance redressal portal (https://bbmp.gov.in).
  4. For unresolved issues by BBMP, you can file a public grievance online against BBMP to the Nodal Officer of the Urban Development Department of the Government of Karnataka through the Janaspandana portal

These steps can help get the necessary repairs and cleanup done. Let me know if you need further guidance.
