The Kagwad Police’s inaction in addressing the recent surge in cattle theft and robbery cases in our area is concerning. Despite multiple reports and complaints, the lack of progress in investigating these incidents has left residents feeling vulnerable and frustrated. It is essential that the authorities take immediate and effective action to investigate these cases, identify the perpetrators, and bring them to justice. I urge the concerned authorities to look into this matter and ensure that the Kagwad Police take necessary steps to prevent such incidents in the future and maintain law and order in our community. We also suspect the currently serving local politician’s involvement in these cases as he has a history of conducting such thefts.
Dear @Shraddha_Desai
To report the Kagwad Police’s inaction, file a complaint with the Karnataka Lokayukta at https://lokayukta.kar.nic.in or submit an online grievance via the State Public Grievance Redressal portal. You may also write to the Superintendent of Police, Belagavi District, or meet them directly. Given your suspicion of political involvement, consider submitting evidence to the higher police authorities. You may also file an online e-FIR and then use this reference number to escalate the case to higher officials.
If your previously escalated complaints or FIRs are not resolved or if you have grievances regarding the functioning of the police (misuse of power, corruption, or harassment), you can lodge an online public grievance to the Appellate Officer for Karnataka State Police at the Home Department through the “Janaspandana – Integrated Public Grievance Redressal System (IPGRS)” portal of the government of Karnataka.
If still need help, reply to us.
Thanks for the response and suggestions. will do that immediately!
