Caring for PMC cares!!!

I live at Flat No. 7, Parijat Apts, Varadayini CHS, Sus Road, Pune 411021. Our building has split level flats so that flat no. 5’s balcony is against the wall of my drawing room. The owner of flat no 5 has built an illegal room on her balcony with a roof made from shahbad tiles & cement. While building it, she had beaten supports for this heavy roof, into my wall creating large cracks in it. Also, the roof is so high that rainwater reflecting from it, wets my sofa. Our building has only 8 flats so that ours is a maintenance society which cannot impose it’s decisions on members. Hence she flouted their requests to stop the illegal construction. She also broke down 7 walls in her flat that has created deep across the wall cracks in the building which will costvthe society upward of 4 lac just to fill them with slurry per the waterproofing contractor. The walls have been destroyed without advice from a structural engineer & as such, no copy of his ‘supposed’ advice has been submitted to the society. I have complained to the Building Permission Dept of the PMC vide C101988 dt March 03, 2024 with no results. I have sent a reminder to the Chief Engineer of the Dept on 14/07/24-again with no result. I have also sent a reminder to the Commissioner, PMC on 28/08/24- again with no result. I got a corporator of the PMC to ring the engineer concerned twice before she could be forced to visit the site. On site, she could not even read the plan of the flat she was surveying. She threatened me with the issue of sending a notice to all members of the society who had built illegal structures. Since she went back to her office, there has been no action at all- from any of the concerned officials. Can you pls do something? We have to waterproof the building, but cannot do so without the removal of the illegal structure.
