On 3/9/25 at 4.45, my friend and I boarded BMTC bus no KA01AR0399 . We paid the conductor for 2 tickets, but he did not issue a ticket despite repeated requests. When the ticket checker arrived, she declared my payment invalid and forced me and about 4 other passengers to pay a fine( All of us paid for the ticket) . She refused to give a fine slip and did not question the conductor’s failure to issue tickets.
We tried to file a complaint on the spot, but BMTC staff refused to register it. This is unfair and amounts to harassment of passengers who had already paid.
I request strict action against the concerned conductor and ticket checker, refund of the fine, and assurance that such incidents will not be repeated.
