Im neeta zutshi resident of ward no 61 lane no 2 santra morh Anand nagar jammu sir i don’t receive my electricity bill for the month of December 2025 till now i visited the sub division Bagwati Nagar where the electricity bill is circulated to our area but unfortunately the consorning officer didnot response at all and told me have patience and wait for next month but sir nor on line neither off line bill i received please do needful and oblige

As per your concern, you have not received your electricity bill for December 2025 despite visiting the Sub-Division Office at Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu. The concerned officer’s response was dismissive, advising you to wait until next month without providing a clear resolution. You have neither received the bill offline nor found it online.
You may check for your electricity bill on the official website of the Jammu Electricity Department or the electricity distribution company for your area. Use your consumer number to verify if the bill has been generated.
Further, you may submit a written complaint to the Assistant Engineer or Junior Engineer of the Bhagwati Nagar subdivision. Ensure you obtain an acknowledgment of the complaint. For this, you can call the JPDCL helpline number 1912 or 18001807183 and message on +919419237685.
To make your complaint online, follow these instructions:
If there is no response within a reasonable time (usually 15 days), escalate the matter to the Executive Engineer of the Electricity Department.
As per the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, consumers have the right to timely services and redressal of grievances related to essential services like electricity. You may lodge a complaint with the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission for non-compliance or service delay.
You may lodge a consumer complaint to the National Consumer Helpline (NCH).
