How can you file complaints of Paytm payment services?

To file complaints about UPI, payments, and financial services of Paytm, including issues related to UPI transactions, ticket bookings, utility bill payments, premium subscriptions, and business payments (payment gateway, merchant services, and nodal account including virtual payment account), you can use the following steps and provided contact details & helplines:

Paytm Customer Support:

  • Customer Care Number: Call at +911204456456 for UPI payment or transaction issues. For hotel, flights ticket, forex, travel booking issues, dial the helpline number +911204880880 or 01203883888 (movies & event tickets). In case of bus or train tickets, contact at +919555395553.
  • Email: To report about privacy or security issues, email to cybercell@paytm.com

For business-related inquiries, call +911204440440 or 012033663377 (merchants accepting payments). Call at the toll-free helpline number 1800120130 to report a bank fraud or unauthorized transaction on Paytm.

File an Online Complaint:

  • Visit the Paytm’s official portal (paytm.com). In Paytm app, navigate to “Help & Support” section from the menu and chat with an executive.
    • You can also navigate to “24x7 help” to open the online complaint form.
  • Login to your account by clicking "“Sign In” option in the menu. In case of Paytm for Business, click “Merchant Support”, then “General queries”, and finally, click “Send a query” to open the form.
  • Follow the provided instructions and fill out the form with required details including transaction ID.
  • Submit the form.

Finally, note down the reference/ticket ID to track status.

If complaints are not resolved, escalate it to the grievance officer by writing a complaint letter with reference/ticket ID. Send it by emailing to grievance-redressal_lending@paytm.com.

Escalate to Head Office:

If your complaints are not resolved to your satisfaction by the Grievance Officer and customer support team, escalate it to the Nodal Officer or Head of Customer Service for Paytm at head office. If Paytm does not resolve your complaint within 30 days or you’re dissatisfied with the resolution, file a complaint with the Banking Ombudsman of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) withall communications and reference numbers of the unresolved case.
