If you have police complaints and FIRs that are not resolved at the local police station or circle office, or the case involves a critical criminal or civil matter, then escalate your complaint to the District Superintendent of Police (SP) at the District Police Headquarters.
In case you have yet not submitted any complaint, file an online police complaint or e-FIR to Jharkhand Police through the online portal or visit the nearest local police station.
You can escalate the case by calling the designated district SP or sending an email with your concerns. Don’t forget to provide the reference/acknowledgement number of the previously lodged complaint at the local police station. These are the contact details of the District SP in each range:

If not resolved, you may escalate the case to the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Range Office.
Note: If your complaints related to citizen services or police functioning (including misconduct & corruption) remain unresolved, you can file an online public grievance to the Appellate Officer for Jharkhand Police within the Home Department through the “CMO Jharkhand – Public Grievance Redressal Portal (IPGRS)” of the Government of Jharkhand.
