Children who take admission in school through EWS and their schools do not provide books. Do we have to purchase the books ourselves?

Under the Right to Education Act and Delhi government directives, schools must provide free books, uniforms, and writing materials to students admitted under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category. If your child’s school isn’t providing these, first approach the school administration with this information. If the issue persists, file a complaint with the Directorate of Education, Delhi (edustud.nic.in), through their grievance portal (edudel.nic.in) or contact their helpline at +917969079701.
