I have applied to the BMC FS ward for correction to the entries on my Birth Certificate, Even after submitting the copies requested by the office my application was rejected because I couldn’t produce a vague document.
Whom do I have to approach to proceed in the matter?

Dear @jtflionel
Since your application was rejected due to a specific document requirement that you couldn’t fulfil, you might consider escalating the issue to the Municipal Council of your BMC FS Ward.
You can lodge an online public grievance through the Directorate of Public Grievances (DPG) portal of the government of Goa.
Here’s how you can approach the issue:
- Visit the official website of the Directorate of Public Grievances (dpg.goa.gov.in) of the government of Goa.
- Follow the instructions on the portal to file a formal complaint. Clearly state the issue, your application details, the documents you provided, the reason for rejection, and the specific vague document that was required.
- Ensure you provide accurate contact information so they can reach you for any updates or clarifications.
You can raise your concerns and seek intervention from a higher authority.
Still, need help? Ask by replying to me.
Thanks for your prompt reply. Who is the higher authority
If you have an issue regarding the birth certificate, you may escalate the case to the Civil Registrar cum Sub Registrar or the State Registrar. For complaints regarding administrative ignorance, you can choose the Department of General Administration in the online grievance form provided on the DPG portal.
