Refund not received even after 1 month for PNRs F6J1UG & H26ZYF

Dear MakeMyTrip Support,

I am writing to raise a serious concern regarding two flight bookings made via your platform, where a segment (Chennai to Kochi) was cancelled by the airline without prior intimation:

Air India Express confirmed they initiated a refund of ₹2,000 on 26 June 2025 to your (MakeMyTrip’s) account for PNR F6J1UG. However, I have not received this refund till date, and no updates have been provided despite several follow-ups.

Moreover, the remaining refund amount of ₹8,500 (₹1,500 + ₹7,000) is still pending and can only be processed once the initial refund is acknowledged and settled.

I am deeply disappointed by the lack of response and delay. It has already been over a month, and this issue remains unresolved, causing me distress and financial inconvenience.

I request your urgent intervention to:

:check_mark: Coordinate with the airline and release the remaining ₹8,500 immediately
:check_mark: Provide a clear update on refund timelines and destination account details

To secure your ₹2,000 refund (PNR F6J1UG) and the pending ₹8,500 (PNR H26ZYF), immediately call MakeMyTrip’s Refund Desk at 18001028747 / 18001187472 or email service@makemytrip.com with both Booking IDs, PNRs, and your bank details. Then, raise a dispute via the “My Trips” section in the MMT app, attaching the airline’s refund confirmation.

If you don’t see progress within 7 days, escalate to the Nodal Officer at grievanceofficer@makemytrip.com. Should this still remain unresolved after 15 days, lodge a grievance on the MoCA National Consumer Helpline portal or your local consumer forum.
