I am writing to bring to your attention the severe shortage of bus services on the Thiruvannamalai–Salem route. At present, there is only one bus available at midnight, and this has been the situation for the past four years. Due to this, passengers are facing great difficulties in traveling on this route.
If the only available bus becomes full, there are no subsequent buses, leaving passengers stranded without any alternative. This causes immense inconvenience, especially for those who need to travel urgently.
Therefore, I kindly request that additional bus services be introduced from Thiruvananthapuram to Salem at convenient timings to ease the difficulties of passengers.
