I gave my iPhone 13 for service due to a battery swelling issue. The battery was replaced, and I collected the device on 8th August (afternoon). Within hours, I discovered that the top speaker/receiver was completely silent during calls — an issue that never existed before the service.

When I went back to the store on Monday afternoon, they claimed it was unrelated to their repair and told me to contact Apple Customer Care. I clearly stated that the problem started only after the battery replacement, and I also noticed new scratches on the phone (which they photographed). Their response was dismissive.

On 11th August, Apple Care ran a diagnosis and confirmed no software problems, but found a fault with the Cellular RF Scan. They told me to get a job sheet from the store without mentioning any charges. On 12th August, at the Gachibowli service center (Pincode 500032), I was asked to pay. Later, I learned from Apple Care that I already had a job sheet from the battery replacement — something the store never informed me.

This experience has been extremely frustrating and time-consuming. As a customer, I should not be facing new device issues, hidden information, and repeated visits caused by a service center’s negligence. This raises a serious question — why should citizens like me go through such inconvenience after trusting a reputed brand like Apple?
