Dear Consumer Helpline Team,
I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Meesho India Ltd regarding a case of non-delivery of paid products and the company’s refusal to address the issue or accept a legal notice sent to them.
A legal notice was issued on my behalf by Advocate Tapish Damley to Meesho India Ltd on 29th May 2025, concerning the non-delivery of products despite full payment and the platform’s false representation that payment is pending. The details are as follows:
- A consolidated order (Order Nos. 141145590323581697 and 141145590323581699) was placed via Meesho on 08/04/2025.
- Full payment of ₹2046 was made via SBI Tata Credit Card (last 4 digits: 1384).
- Only part of the order was delivered, while the remaining items were not delivered and are falsely reflected as unpaid.
- Multiple attempts to resolve the issue through Meesho’s customer care were unsuccessful.
Despite sending the legal notice via courier to Meesho’s official address, the company refused to accept the notice, and the courier was returned. This refusal to accept legal communication demonstrates a lack of accountability and a continued pattern of negligent and unfair business practices.
As clearly stated in the legal notice, Meesho is required to refund the amount of ₹1186 out of the total ₹2046—which they now claim is still pending—for the undelivered items. This claim is absurd and legally untenable, as the entire amount was paid in a single online transaction.
I respectfully request the Consumer Helpline’s support in taking appropriate action. Additionally, I kindly request:
- A point of contact within Meesho India Ltd who is authorized to receive legal communications.
- A verified address to which the legal notice can be successfully delivered.
A copy of the legal notice is attached for your review.
Thank you for your assistance and guidance on this matter. I look forward to your response.
Warm regards,
Advocate Tapish Damley
