Dear @GurleenSaluja

You should immediately report the theft of your iPhone 13 Pro Max to the nearest police station and lodge an FIR. Since the theft occurred near Kundalahalli Gate and the last location was seen near Graphite India, mention these details in the complaint for accurate investigation. The police will categorize this under theft of movable property as per Section 303 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.

Steps to File a Complaint:

  1. Visit the nearest police station (or nearby jurisdiction around Kundalahalli Gate or Graphite India area) and inform the officer on duty about the incident.
  2. Provide a written complaint with the following details:
  • Your personal information (name, contact details, address).
  • Description of the incident: Time, date, and location of the theft.
  • Device details: iPhone 13 Pro Max (color, storage capacity, IMEI number, and serial number).
  • Last known location and the app/service (e.g., Find My iPhone) used to track it.
  • Mention any suspicious activity or persons noticed during the incident.
  1. Request a copy of the FIR (First Information Report) after it is registered.
  2. Inform your service provider (Airtel, Jio, etc.) to block your SIM card.
  3. Report the theft to Apple Support to block your device using Find My iPhone or remotely erase it.
