How can I file complaints about TV Programmes and Digital Media to Broadcasting Content Complaints Council (BCCC)?

You can file a complaint with the Broadcasting Content Complaints Council (BCCC) regarding a violation of broadcasting codes by a television program and digital media in India. The BCCC also addresses complaints about non-news, entertainment, and current affairs programs on channels affiliated with the Indian Broadcasting & Digital Foundation (IBDF).

Before approaching to BCCC, file a written complaint or submit it online to the Grievance Officer (S&P Department) of the concerned television channel within 7 days. Within your complaint, include details like channel name, program title, date & time of broadcast, reason for complaint, and your contact information. The channel will respond you with an acknowledgement within 2 days and resolve the issue within 3 weeks.

If you are not satisfied with the TV Channel’s resolution or if no response within 2 weeks, then you can file a complaint with the BCCC through both online and written complaint modes within 14 days of the program’s telecast.
