You can access online services from the Seva-Sindhu portal of the Govt of Karnataka for e-services like e-lost report applications, passport seva, police verification certificates, and arms online applications.

Filing Online FIR:
- Visit the nearest police station to file an FIR or the Karnataka State Police portal for an e-FIR or online police complaint.
- Open the CCTNS portal, log in/register as a citizen, and submit your police complaint.
After successful submission, don’t forget to note down the reference/acknowledgement ID to track the status.
You can register an online FIR or complaint for offences like vehicle theft, lost property, and missing persons by providing your name, contact details, incident description, and details of the accused on plain paper.
Escalation
If unsatisfied with the resolution or to report issues with the police department, lodge a public grievance to the Appellate Authority of Karnataka Police through the “Janaspandana – Integrated Public Grievance Redressal System (IPGRS)” of the Karnataka Government.
You can also file your complaint with the District Police Complaint Authority of Bangalore Urban District by sending an email to dc-bangaloreurban@karnataka.in or dcpadminbcp@ksp.gov.in.
