Steps to file an online complaint:
- Visit the KMC’s official website (kmc.up.nic.in).
- Click “Grievance Redressal System” from the menu.
- Create an account or log in using the registered citizen account on the Kanpur Smart City portal.
- After successfully logging in, open the online complaint form.
- Fill out the form with required details including type of complaint, location with ward, expected resolution, and supporting evidence.
- Submit the form.
Finally, note down the reference/ticket number for future correspondence. If not resolved, you may escalate the grievance to zonal deputy municipal commissioner or head of department with acknowledgement ID of the complaint.
Escalation to Municipal Commissioner:
