Steps to file a complaint online:

  • Visit TGNPDCL’s online portal: https://www.tgnpdcl.com/
  • From the “Our Services” section, click “For any electricity complaint
  • Fill out the online complaint form
  • Provide your TGNPDCL Connection number (Unique Service No.), type of complaint, and a detailed description with relevant photographs or documents.
  • Submit the form.

Finally, note down the reference/ticket ID to track status. If not resolved, use this acknowledgement ID to escalate the complaint to IGR Cell.

Escalation to Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF)

If your previously lodged complaints are not resolved by the customer service executives or divisional/subdivisional officials, escalate it to the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF) of TGNPDCL at zonal offices.

You can write a grievance letter or download the CGRF grievance form from the TGNPDCL website to submit it by visiting the nearest circle office. You can also lodge an online grievance by submitting the provided form via the “CGRF” section on the portal.

Don’t forget to attach the required supporting documents including acknowledgement receipt of previous complaints and submit the form to your nearest CGRF Forum at zonal or circle offices.

Approach to Electricity Ombudsman

If your grievance is not resolved to your satisfaction by the CGRF or internal grievance redressal cell, you can appeal to the Electricity Ombudsman of Telangana. You have to file a complaint within 30 days of receiving the final decision from the CGRF. Noting that there is no charge for making a representation to the Electricity Ombudsman.
