These centres are established by the Stock Exchanges (NSE and BSE) and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to provide investors with support and guidance. Investors can visit the SEBI website for a complete list of ISC locations and contact details.
Examples of investor disputes that can be raised at ISC include:
- Non-receipt of dividends or interest
- Issues with demat accounts or statements
- Trading & investment services of the exchange
- Unauthorized transactions or fraud
- Delays in IPO refunds
- Complaints against listed companies or brokers
- Non-compliance with SEBI regulations
