Request for Refund from zomato Wallet Top-Up for Dining Booking

I am writing to request a refund for a wallet top-up of ₹10,000 made . I added this amount thinking it could be used to book a Zomato Dining reservation. However, I later found out that Zomato Wallet funds cannot be used for dining payments, and the amount is now stuck in my wallet unused.

Since the funds have not been used and were added due to a misunderstanding, I kindly request you to process a refund to the original payment method.

I fully understand Zomato’s wallet policies, but I would sincerely appreciate your support in this matter as it was a genuine mistake.

We’re sorry you’re facing this issue. To process your refund request for the ₹10,000 Zomato Wallet top-up, open the Zomato app, tap Profile > Support > Wallet & Payments > Refund Request. Attach your transaction details (ID, date) and explain the misunderstanding. You can also email or call customer care .

If you do not receive a response within 5 business days, escalate via the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) (1800-11-4000) or file a consumer complaint online.
