Steps to File an Online Complaint:

  • Visit the official website of BSES Yamuna: https://www.bsesdelhi.com/web/bypl/
  • Select “Quick Access” option
  • From “Register a complaint”, click “No Power Complaint” or “Street Light Complaint”
  • Select " My Account" to login or signup to make your complaint about other electricity services.
  • Fill out the required details in the online complaint form.
  • Submit the form.

Finally, note down the reference/ticket ID to track status. You can also use the BSES BYPL Connect mobile app to lodge your complaint.

If not resolved, escalate your complaint to the head of customer service of the company at:

Escalation to Consumer Forum (CGRF):

If not satisfied with the initial response from the customer service center and divisional office, escalate your grievance to the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum (CGRF) of BYPL. You can write a grievance letter including reference/ticket ID of previously unresolved complaint and expected relief from the forum or download the provided grievance form.

Approach the Electricity Ombudsman:

If your complaints are not resolved by the CGRF, file a petition to the Electricity Ombudsman of Delhi within 30 days of the CGRF’s final order or after 60 days if no resolution is provided.

Further, you can approach the High Court of Delhi to challenge the final order of the Ombudsman. For commercial or licensee disputes, you may appeal to the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) and Appellate Tribunal for Electricity.
